what people are saying

The anti-racism book club was such a valuable time of learning and growth. It was such an amazing opportunity to learn from women who actively pursue justice in the way they live their lives. They so graciously taught us through discussion, whilst constantly challenging us to go deeper on the journey of anti-racism.

— Eliza P.

For me, the antiracism training was all at once challenging, inspiring and supportive. We navigated not just the ideas in the book but also explored how our own lives are shaped by racism with all it’s power structures, assumptions, ignorance and aggressions. At the same time, we held space for all the emotion that comes with that exploration. I found it a profound experience as I searched out the White privilege and fragility in my own life.

— Gavin Hanbridge, Paddington Uniting Church ”

Priyanka was a presenter as part of our organisation’s anti-racism online workshops. She brought to light how systemic racism and White supremacy is at work today. She was intentional in making room and prioritising First Nations people and People of Colour in our workshops, which contributed to a transformational experience for many.

— Charlene Delos Santos, Director, Surrender Australia.

The example of putting First Nations first in the structure of the series. Each of the speakers also did this which was great. I felt challenged and uncomfortable but safe, which is a great place to be. In terms of new ways of thinking, that anyone can have white supremacist's ways of thinking and being, being anti-racist is not what your are, but what you do.
