we are the mainstream, with the generous support of Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) present our first short course!

Learn about social media through the First Nations and Pasifika female lens with this workshop run by First Nations woman Lorna Munro and Talica Tamanitoakula. Join them for the day at Parramatta’s Story Factory to discuss the intricacies of social media discussing social media literacy, strategy, content creation, personal safety and community building. 

This short course will give participants an insight into:

- the difference between social media platforms

- generating content

- building one's brand

- netiquette

- dealing with White supremacy, trolls and caring for one's self in the cyber world.

This workshop is supported by the Australian Film, Television and Radio School as part of AFTRS’ commitment to First Nations & Outreach initiatives.
